Perhaps the most fun we've had in 2008 so far was Leap Year Day (or whatever Feb 29th that occurs every four years is called...)
We made a time capsule to try to really capture what it's like at the Wilde house in 2008. While there was no way to capture the aroma of three kids in Pull-Ups/diapers in the morning. Nor could I replicate the sticky feeling of little hands smearing yogurt on my pillow and then petting the neighbor's dusty cat.
But we did our best. We took pictures of the kids favorites toys. Did very formal interviews with gripping questions, and a bunch of other day-to-day stuff. I threw it all in a box and hid it away for four years.
Then we took the kids to the temple grounds and had several dining malfunctions culminating in a desparate rush to Burgers Supreme. What a great day!
I don't think Ryan and I will have changed much in four years, but Rex will be a full-fledged teenager and the kids will be school children. WOW!
